Hama 00200344 káblový adaptér HDMI VGA čierny

The Hama Cable gender changer HDMI VGA Black is an adapter designed to connect devices with an HDMI output to displays with a VGA input. Its compact black housing provides a straightforward mechanical interface between HDMI and VGA connections, enabling signal transfer from HDMI-equipped sources to older monitors, projectors or other VGA-only displays. The adapter is intended for one-way signal conversion from HDMI (source) to VGA (display).

Advantages

The adapter features a compact and robust black enclosure that fits easily into laptop and AV setups without occupying much space. It provides a simple mechanical solution for connecting HDMI-equipped devices to VGA displays where native ports do not match. The product is plug-and-play in typical setups and does not require additional drivers or software for basic video transmission. Its straightforward design minimizes cable clutter and simplifies connection during presentations or when using legacy displays.

How to use

Connect the HDMI end of the gender changer to the HDMI output of your source device (for example, a laptop or media player). Plug a VGA cable from the adapter’s VGA connector into the VGA input of the display or projector. Power on both devices and select the appropriate input on the display. In most cases the display will receive the video signal immediately; if needed, adjust the source device’s display settings (resolution and output mode) to match the capabilities of the VGA display.

Recommendations

Use the adapter for one-way HDMI-to-VGA connections only and avoid forcing connectors into ports. For best results set the source resolution to an output supported by the VGA display (commonly 1024×768 or 1280×720). If audio is required, use a separate audio connection because VGA carries video only.
