How to use

Connect the DisplayPort end of the Hama cable adapter to the source device’s DisplayPort output and insert the HDMI end into the display’s HDMI input. Power on both devices and select the appropriate HDMI input on the display. The adapter is designed for one-way conversion from DisplayPort to HDMI; it will not convert an HDMI source to a DisplayPort display. Most operating systems will detect the external display automatically; adjust resolution and audio output settings in the system display or sound control panel if necessary.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the adapter with devices that support the desired output resolution and audio formats. Avoid excessive bending near the connectors to prolong cable life and ensure secure, fully seated connections at both ends. If no signal is detected, verify source output settings and try a different HDMI input or cable to isolate the issue.
