Hama 00205018 videokábel adaptér 1,5 m HDMI Type-A (Standard) DVI-D čierny

The Hama 00205018 video cable adapter is a 1.5 m connection cable that links an HDMI Type A (Standard) output to a DVI-D input for uncompressed digital video transmission. Designed for straightforward compatibility between devices such as computers, monitors, projectors and media players, the adapter supports single-link DVI-D signal transfer and maintains the original digital image quality across the cable. Its black outer jacket and compact connectors suit both home and office setups where a reliable video-only connection is required.

Advantages

The cable provides a direct digital interface between HDMI Type A and DVI-D ports without signal conversion, preserving picture clarity. With a 1.5 m length it offers moderate reach for typical desk, shelf or AV-rack arrangements while remaining easy to route and manage. The construction prioritizes durability and a stable physical connection to reduce intermittent contact and maintain consistent video output. The black finish integrates with standard AV equipment and cabling.

Suitable for

• Connecting a PC or laptop HDMI output to a monitor or projector with DVI-D input
• Linking media players or set-top boxes to DVI-D displays (video signal only)
• Office workstations and meeting rooms requiring a simple digital video connection
• Temporary AV setups where a compact, reliable adapter cable is needed

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1.5 m
• Connector 1: HDMI Type A (Standard) plug
• Connector 2: DVI-D plug (digital-only, single-link)
• Signal type: Digital video (no analog RGB or audio passthrough via DVI-D)
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect the HDMI Type A end to the source device’s HDMI output and plug the DVI-D end into the display’s DVI-D input. Ensure both devices are powered and set to the appropriate input/output modes. If the display does not receive a signal, check cable seating and the display’s input selection. Note that DVI-D carries video only; for audio you must use a separate audio connection or a display that accepts audio via another input.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid sharp bends and heavy kinks in the cable; route the cable to minimize strain on connectors. Use the 1.5 m length for close-range connections—if a longer run is required, select a cable of appropriate length. Confirm that connected devices support single-link DVI resolutions; for higher resolutions or dual-link requirements, use compatible interfaces and cabling.
