Allow the operating system to detect the device; no additional drivers are usually necessary for basic functionality. Position the mouse on a flat surface, place your hand in a comfortable right-handed grip, and use the left and right buttons, additional side or function buttons, and the scroll wheel to navigate applications and documents. Adjust pointer speed in the system settings if you need finer or faster cursor movement.

Recommendations

To maintain consistent tracking, keep the optical sensor area clean and replace batteries when cursor responsiveness declines. For best wireless performance, avoid placing the RF receiver behind metal objects and maintain a clear line of sight within the recommended wireless range. If using on reflective or uneven surfaces, consider a mouse pad to improve sensor accuracy.
