Hama Safe X40-B skartovačka časticový rez 64 dB 22 cm čierna

The Hama Safe X40-B is a compact cross-cut paper shredder designed for secure disposal of sensitive documents. It shreds up to 4 sheets of DIN-A4 paper (80 g/m²) at once and also accepts plastic cards via the paper entry slot. With a 22 cm working width, 4x33 mm cross-cut particles and a 7-litre collection basket with viewing window, it is suitable for small offices and home offices where space is limited.

Advantages

The device provides GDPR-compliant destruction of personal data and features an automatic start/stop function for convenient operation. A reverse function helps clear jams, and the cutters are staple-proof and made of steel. Built-in overheating protection automatically switches the unit off to prevent damage, and a safety mechanism prevents operation if the head is not correctly inserted into the basket.

Suitable for

• Shredding confidential A4 paper documents (up to 4 sheets at once)
• Destroying plastic cards and credit cards via the paper slot
• Use in small offices, home offices, and personal workspaces

How to use

Place the shredder on a stable, level surface and insert the device head securely into the paper basket until the safety mechanism engages. Allow the unit to cool if the overheating protection has switched it off.

Recommendations

To maintain performance, avoid exceeding the 4-sheet capacity and remove staples only if heavily bent; the cutters are staple-proof but excessive metal can increase wear. Empty the 7-litre basket regularly to prevent overfilling and ensure the safety interlock functions correctly.
