Hammer Gedore R92120012 drevená rukoväť 25mm výška 480g

The Gedore R92120012 Wood Handle 25mm Height 480g hammer is a hand tool designed for general hammering tasks. It combines a forged steel head with a wooden handle to deliver balanced impact, control and tactile feedback. With a head height of 25 mm and a mass of 480 g, this hammer is sized for light-to-medium striking work where precision and reduced recoil are important. The wooden handle provides natural vibration damping and a secure grip for repeated use.

Advantages

The hammer's forged steel head ensures consistent hardness and edge resistance for reliable striking performance. A 25 mm head height concentrates force for accurate blows while the 480 g weight offers a compromise between power and control. The wooden handle absorbs shock and provides a comfortable grip that helps reduce hand fatigue during extended tasks. The combination of materials and dimensions supports predictable handling and a long service life when used appropriately.

Suitable for

• Light-to-medium carpentry and joinery work
• Driving and removing small nails and pins
• Furniture assembly and repair
• General household hammering tasks

Key specifications

• Head material: forged steel
• Handle material: wood
• Head height: 25 mm
• Weight: 480 g
• Grip type: wooden shaft with ergonomic shaping

How to use

Hold the hammer near the end of the wooden handle for maximum leverage and control. Position the workpiece securely and align the hammer face with the striking point. Use controlled swings, allowing the hammer's weight to deliver the impact rather than excessive force from the arm. For removing nails, use the claw or appropriate pulling surface while protecting the workpiece with a block if needed. Inspect the wooden handle and head connection regularly and avoid using the hammer on hardened steel, masonry or striking edges that can cause chipping.

Recommendations

Wear appropriate eye protection when striking to protect against flying particles. Store the hammer in a dry place to preserve the wooden handle and check for any looseness between head and handle before each use. Replace the handle if cracks or splits appear to maintain safe operation.
