HDMI A konektor samica na DisplayPort konektor samec adaptér ShiverPeaks BS10-01012 4K 60Hz 20 cm

The ShiverPeaks HDMI A Female to DisplayPort Male Adapter BS10-01012 is a passive conversion cable designed to connect HDMI-output sources to DisplayPort-input displays or capture devices when passive signal conversion is supported. The adapter supports resolutions up to 4K at 60 Hz and features a short 20 cm cable length suitable for compact desktop or AV arrangements. It provides a straightforward physical interface to check compatibility or temporarily connect devices without changing primary cabling.

Advantages

This adapter offers a compact, low-profile connection between HDMI A female sources and DisplayPort displays while preserving support for up to 4K at 60 Hz where the source and display support passive conversion. Its 20 cm cable reduces strain on ports and keeps desktop setups tidy. The passive design requires no external power or drivers, making it easy to plug in and use for compatible equipment and quick testing scenarios.

Suitable for

• Short desktop connections between an HDMI-output device and a DisplayPort monitor
• Temporary AV setups or demonstrations requiring quick source-to-display linking
• Compatibility testing when verifying whether an HDMI source works with a DP input using passive adapters
• Connecting capture devices or projectors with DisplayPort input when passive conversion is supported

Key specifications

• Connector type: HDMI A female to DisplayPort male
• Maximum supported resolution: up to 4K (3840 × 2160) at 60 Hz
• Cable length: 20 cm
• Design: passive adapter (no active signal conversion or external power)
• Intended use: HDMI source to DisplayPort input where passive mapping is compatible

How to use

Insert an HDMI cable from the source device into the HDMI A female connector on the adapter, then plug the DisplayPort male connector into the display or capture device. Ensure both source and display support the desired resolution and any necessary passive conversion features. Because this is a passive adapter, it will only work when the source device provides a signal format compatible with DisplayPort input via the adapter. No drivers or external power are required.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use the adapter in short-reach desktop or AV setups and verify device compatibility at lower resolutions before attempting 4K 60 Hz. If the source or display does not support passive conversion, consider an active converter solution. Avoid heavy bending near connectors and keep the 20 cm cable free from strain to maintain stable connections.
