If using eARC, connect the cable to the TV HDMI port labelled eARC or ARC and ensure the connected audio system supports eARC for uncompressed audio transmission. Configure the display and source device settings to the desired resolution and HDR modes if necessary.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep cable runs as short as practical and avoid sharp bends. Use the 1 m cable for close device placements; for longer distances, choose an appropriate Ultra High Speed HDMI cable rated for 48 Gbps. Ensure devices and cables support the same HDR and audio standards to take full advantage of Dynamic HDR, Dolby® Vision and eARC.
