HDMI (konektor samica) na DisplayPort (konektor samec) adaptér ShiverPeaks 4K 60Hz 20 cm

The ShiverPeaks HDMI (female) to DisplayPort (male) adapter is a passive 20 cm cable designed to route an HDMI source to a DisplayPort input. It supports up to 4K resolution at 60 Hz when the connected HDMI source and the receiving DisplayPort device support the required signalling. The adapter is intended for connecting HDMI-equipped devices to monitors, capture cards or other displays that accept DisplayPort input in single-display setups, presentations and workstation environments.

Advantages

This adapter provides a compact, low-profile connection between HDMI sources and DisplayPort inputs without the need for a bulky converter box. With support for up to 4K at 60 Hz, it maintains high-resolution video where source and sink compatibility allow. Its 20 cm length keeps cable clutter to a minimum and suits tight desk or rack placements. The simple plug-and-play design requires no external power when the source supports the necessary signal mode.

Suitable for

• Connecting an HDMI laptop or media player to a DisplayPort monitor that accepts DP signalling
• Single-monitor workstation setups where short cable runs are preferred
• Presentations using a DisplayPort-equipped projector or capture device

Key specifications

• Cable length: 20 cm
• Connector A: HDMI (female)
• Connector B: DisplayPort (male)
• Maximum supported resolution: up to 4K at 60 Hz (subject to device compatibility)
• Adapter type: passive (requires source support for appropriate output mode or an active converter)

How to use

Insert an HDMI cable from your HDMI source into the HDMI female end of the ShiverPeaks adapter, then plug the DisplayPort male connector into the DisplayPort input on the monitor or capture device. Ensure both source and display are powered on and set to the correct input. If the connected devices do not negotiate a DP-compatible signal, an active converter may be required; this adapter does not convert signal standards actively.

Recommendations

Verify that your HDMI source supports the necessary output mode for conversion to DisplayPort input or use an active HDMI-to-DisplayPort converter for incompatible sources. Keep the 20 cm adapter close to the connected devices to avoid signal loss associated with longer passive runs. Avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors and connect/disconnect gently to preserve connector integrity.
