HDMI spojovací adaptér LOGILINK AH0008 — HDMI na HDMI, čierny, pozlátené kontakty

The LOGILINK AH0008 HDMI gender changer is a passive adapter that joins two HDMI cables end-to-end to create a longer HDMI run. It features HDMI connectors on both ends housed in a black casing with gold-plated contact surfaces to reduce corrosion and support reliable signal transfer. The adapter does not perform any active signal conversion; it is intended to extend or adapt existing HDMI cable connections in home audio-visual setups, monitors, TVs and projectors.

Advantages

The adapter provides a simple mechanical solution for connecting two HDMI cables without introducing active electronics. Gold-plated contacts improve resistance to oxidation and help maintain consistent electrical contact between mating plugs. Its compact black housing keeps the connection discreet and compatible with most HDMI cable connectors and recessed ports.

Suitable for

• Extending HDMI cable runs between AV components
• Adapting cable terminations when a longer single cable is required
• Connecting HDMI-equipped monitors, TVs and projectors in home or office setups
• Temporary or permanent cable extensions where active signal boosters are not needed

Key specifications

• Connector type: HDMI to HDMI
• Housing colour: Black
• Contact finish: Gold-plated contacts
• Function: Passive gender changer for mechanical connection of two HDMI cables

How to use

Align the HDMI plug of each cable with the corresponding female end of the LOGILINK AH0008 and insert until fully seated. Ensure connectors are oriented correctly and push gently to avoid bending cable ends. Verify the combined cable length and routing to prevent strain on connectors or interference with other equipment. Because the adapter is passive, it does not require power or configuration—once connected, verify the video and audio signal through the display device.

Recommendations

Use the adapter for short to moderate cable extensions where signal integrity is maintained by the existing HDMI cables. For long cable runs, high-resolution video, or where signal loss is observed, consider using active repeaters or certified longer HDMI cables to preserve performance.
