Hliníkové puzdro QOLTEC 51833 pre M.2 SSD, SATA na USB 3.0, podporuje až do 2 TB

The QOLTEC 51833 aluminum enclosure converts an M.2 SSD with a SATA interface into an external USB 3.0 drive, supporting capacities up to 2TB. The compact metal housing provides physical protection and helps dissipate heat from the drive, while the USB 3.0 connection enables high-speed data transfer for backups, storage expansion and file transport. The enclosure is designed for easy installation and portable use with laptops, desktop PCs and service tools.

Advantages

The aluminum construction offers improved heat dissipation compared with plastic enclosures and ensures mechanical protection during transport. USB 3.0 connectivity delivers transfer speeds compatible with external storage tasks while maintaining backward compatibility with USB 2.0 ports. Tool-free or minimal-tool installation simplifies swapping M.2 SATA SSDs. The compact form factor and universal USB interface make the enclosure suitable for mobile use and quick access to drive contents without opening a host device.

Suitable for

• Creating portable external storage from an M.2 SATA SSD
• Quick backups and transferring large files between computers
• Technicians and IT professionals testing or diagnosing drives
• Expanding storage capacity for laptops and compact systems
• Temporary cloning or data recovery from M.2 SATA SSDs

Key specifications

• Drive type supported: M.2 SSD with SATA interface (B-key/B+M-key as applicable to SATA M.2)
• Interface to host: USB 3.0 (backward compatible with USB 2.0)
• Maximum supported capacity: up to 2TB
• Enclosure material: aluminum (metal housing for heat dissipation and protection)
• Form factor: compact, portable external enclosure for single M.2 SATA SSD

How to use

Open the enclosure according to the included instructions, insert the M.2 SATA SSD into the connector at the correct angle, secure the drive with the provided screw or mounting mechanism and close the housing. Connect the enclosure to a computer using the supplied USB 3.0 cable. The drive should be detected by the host operating system as an external storage device; if necessary, initialize or format the drive using the system disk management tools. For safe removal, use the operating system's ejection function before unplugging the USB cable.

Recommendations

The enclosure is intended for M.2 SSDs that use the SATA signalling protocol; it does not support NVMe (PCIe) M.2 drives. For optimal thermal performance, avoid enclosing the device in tight, poorly ventilated spaces during sustained heavy transfers. Use quality USB 3.0 cables and ports to achieve the best transfer rates, and always back up important data before formatting or performing operations that modify drive contents.
