Secure your home's perimeter with the Homematic IP Outdoor Light Camera. The integrated PIR sensor detects motion up to 12 m away, triggering the light and recording automatically. With two-way audio, you can communicate with visitors or warn off trespassers from your smartphone. Live and recorded video is accessible via the Homematic IP app, with local storage on a microSD card (up to 128 GB, not included).

Why choose it

This camera replaces your existing outdoor light, so you get both illumination and surveillance in one device. The bright 2000-lumen light ensures clear colour video at night, while the PIR sensor reduces false alerts by only recording when motion is detected. Integration with the Homematic IP smart home system allows you to create automation rules, such as turning on other lights when motion is detected. Installation is straightforward: connect to the existing 230 V wiring and pair with the Homematic IP Access Point or CCU3.

Ideal use cases

• Monitoring entrances, driveways, and gardens
• Deterring intruders with automatic floodlight activation
• Two-way communication with delivery personnel or visitors
• Part of a comprehensive Homematic IP security setup

Good to know

The camera requires a Homematic IP Access Point or CCU3 for operation. It supports local recording on a microSD card (up to 128 GB) without subscription fees. The light can be manually controlled or automated based on motion or schedules. The housing is IP44-rated, suitable for outdoor use under eaves or sheltered locations. For full weatherproofing, avoid direct exposure to heavy rain.
