The Energy+ 18V 58GE140 GRAPHITE cordless brushless router trimmer is a compact tool for milling holes, grooves, edges and profiles in wood, wood-based materials, plastics and aluminum. It features a brushless motor, an aluminum base for stable guidance and an LED work light for improved visibility. The tool is part of the Energy+ 18 V battery system and is supplied without a battery; run times at idle depend on the battery capacity used.

How to use

Fit a compatible 6–6.35 mm router bit in the collet and securely tighten the spindle lock. Adjust the milling depth using the cam depth adjustment and lock the setting with the quick-release mechanism. Hold the router with both hands, place the stable aluminum foot flat on the work surface and power the tool from a charged Energy+ 18 V battery. Use steady, controlled movements along the workpiece, allowing the tool to reach operating speed before engaging the material.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (eye and ear protection and dust extraction). For best results with prolonged runtime, select Energy+ batteries with higher capacity: 2.0 Ah provides approx. 25 minutes idle operation, 4.0 Ah approx. 50 minutes, and 6.0 Ah approx. 75 minutes. Store and charge batteries according to the manufacturer’s instructions. The router is supplied with collet, dust extraction, angle arm, wrench and parallel guide.
