HAMA 00050573 is a hot laminator for documents up to 230 mm wide, with a 3-minute preheat time and continuous lamination speed of 230 mm/min. Designed for home and small-office use, it performs single-roll hot lamination of ID cards, photos, small posters and A4 documents in a compact black housing.

Advantages

The laminator offers quick warm-up and steady feeding through two rollers, enabling consistent lamination results for thin documents up to 0.6 mm. Its A4-capable width and simple operation make it easy to use without special training.

Suitable for

• Laminating ID cards and membership cards
• Protecting photos and printed photos
• Laminating small posters, signs and A4 documents
• Home or small office occasional lamination tasks

When it may not be suitable

This unit is intended for single-sheet hot lamination and is limited to documents up to 0.6 mm thick and 230 mm wide. It is not designed for heavy production environments or for laminating very thick items, large-format posters beyond the specified width, or materials that require cold lamination.

Key specifications

• Maximum lamination width: 230 mm
• Maximum document thickness: 0.6 mm
• Preheat time: approximately 3 minutes
• Lamination speed: 230 mm/min

How to use

Switch on the laminator and allow approximately three minutes for preheating. Place the document inside an appropriate laminating pouch, align it and insert the sealed edge first into the feed slot. The rollers will draw the pouch through; collect the laminated item at the exit and allow it to cool flat for a short time before handling.

What to consider before purchase

• Designed for hot lamination only (not cold lamination)
• Intended for occasional home or small-office use rather than heavy production
• Requires compatible laminating pouches sized for A4/230 mm width

Recommendations

Use pouches appropriate for the indicated thickness, feed sealed edge first, and allow laminated items to cool flat to ensure even adhesion and a smooth finish.
