Managed sieťový switch HP Enterprise Aruba R8S90A 48x 5G Ethernet (100/1000/5000) PoE, RJ-45/USB-C konzola, 880 Gbit/s

The Aruba R8S90A is a managed HP Enterprise network switch equipped with 48 RJ-45 multi-gigabit ports supporting 100/1000/5000 Mbps speeds and integrated Power over Ethernet according to IEEE 802.3af/at/bt standards. Designed for business LAN deployments, it offers a switching capacity of 880 Gbit/s and a RJ-45/USB-C console interface for configuration and management. The unit provides centralized network control, multi-gig connectivity for modern access devices and PoE power delivery for IP phones, wireless access points and surveillance cameras.

Advantages

The switch delivers consistent multi-gig performance across 48 copper ports while providing Power over Ethernet to connected devices, reducing the need for separate power supplies. With managed features and a console port that supports both RJ-45 and USB-C, administrators can perform configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting using standard tools. The 880 Gbit/s switching capacity supports simultaneous high-throughput traffic and helps maintain low latency in dense enterprise segments.

Suitable for

• Small and medium enterprise LANs requiring multi-gig Ethernet and centralized management
• Deployment of wireless access points with multi-gig uplinks and PoE power supply
• IP telephony systems and VoIP phones powered via PoE
• Networked surveillance installations with PoE cameras
• Edge aggregation in office wiring closets or wiring rooms

How to use

Mount the Aruba R8S90A in a standard 19-inch rack or place it on a stable surface in a ventilated equipment room, connect network devices to the RJ-45 ports and connect uplink links to your aggregation or core layer. Configure network settings and PoE behavior through the management interface accessed via console (RJ-45 or USB-C) or the supported management tools. Assign VLANs, QoS, link aggregation and PoE priorities according to site design, and monitor port status and power consumption to ensure stable operation.

Recommendations

To ensure reliable PoE delivery and thermal performance, use appropriately rated cabling (Cat5e or higher for multi-gig operation), verify power budget requirements for connected devices and provide adequate rack ventilation. Regularly update firmware and back up configuration files to maintain security and stability in managed deployments.
