HPE Mixed Use-3 800GB SAS 12Gb/s Hot-Swap 2,5" SFF SSD so SmartDrive Carrier 822559-B21

Server workloads that mix reads and writes need storage that keeps up without wearing out prematurely. The HPE Mixed Use-3 800GB SAS 12Gb/s SSD addresses that balance, delivering consistent performance for virtualisation, databases, and transactional applications in ProLiant, Synergy, and Apollo environments.

Who is it for

IT administrators and data centre operators running HPE servers who require a hot-swap drive with predictable endurance and low latency. It suits organisations that need to upgrade or maintain server storage without downtime.

Main features

• 800GB capacity in a 2.5-inch Small Form Factor (SFF) hot-swap design.
• SAS 12Gb/s interface for high throughput and dual-port reliability.
• Mixed Use-3 endurance class, estimated at 3 drive writes per day, for balanced read/write workloads.
• 3D NAND flash technology for improved density and power efficiency.
• Includes HP SmartDrive carrier for tool-less installation in compatible HPE servers.
