Spravovaný L2 Fast Ethernet switch Hewlett Packard Enterprise Aruba 2530 24 PoE+ J9779A-RFB

Aruba 2530 24 PoE+ Switch, Refurbished. The Aruba 2530 switch series offers secure, reliable Layer 2 connectivity for enterprise edge, branch office and SMB environments. These fully managed switches include optional PoE+, optional 10GbE uplinks, traffic prioritization (IEEE 802.1p), sFlow, IPv6 host support and energy-saving features such as Energy Efficient Ethernet and fanless models. Unified management with ClearPass Policy Manager and AirWave Network Management ensures consistent wired and wireless user experience and simplifies deployment and policy control.

Advantages

The Aruba 2530 24 PoE+ delivers a balance of manageability, security and power delivery for access layer deployments. It supports multiple authentication methods (Local MAC, 802.1X, MAC and Web), advanced DoS protections, QoS with multiple priority levels and options for PoE+ to power devices. Fanless models, Energy Efficient Ethernet and configurable LED/port low-power modes help reduce operational energy use. Integration with ClearPass and AirWave provides unified policy and monitoring across wired and wireless domains.

How to use

Install the switch in a rack, on a wall or on a tabletop according to site requirements, then connect uplink and access ports to your network devices. Configure management access via the Web GUI, CLI or SNMP and integrate with ClearPass Policy Manager or AirWave for unified policy and monitoring. If using PoE+, enable PoE settings for powered devices and verify port prioritization and VLAN settings for expected traffic flows. Apply authentication and security policies (802.1X, MAC, DHCP/ARP protections) and enable QoS profiles to prioritise real-time traffic.

Recommendations

For best results, use the Aruba 2530 24 PoE+ in access-layer roles with ClearPass or AirWave for centralised policy and monitoring. Verify firmware is up to date and choose fanless or variable-speed fan models to match ambient noise and cooling requirements. When deploying PoE devices, confirm power budget and configure PoE priority to ensure critical devices remain powered during peak usage.
