Hrotový vrták Bosch 5 mm 1 ks 2608596302

Bosch 5mm brad point drill bit (1 pc) is designed for accurate, clean drilling in hard and soft wood. The centring tip and shoulder cutter provide precise entry and controlled cutting, while the two-flute design removes chips efficiently for consistent hole quality. Supplied as a single piece, this drill bit fits standard chucks and is suitable for woodworking tasks that require neat, well-defined holes.

Advantages

The brad point tip prevents wandering and ensures a true centre start. The shoulder cutter produces clean hole edges and reduces tear-out. Two flutes improve chip evacuation and drilling speed. The ground point and black finish increase durability and visibility of the cutting geometry.

Suitable for

• Drilling precise holes in hard wood
• Drilling precise holes in soft wood
• Cabinet making and furniture assembly
• Finish carpentry and joinery

How to use

Mount the 5 mm Brad Point drill bit securely in the drill chuck. Position the centring tip at the intended mark and apply steady, even pressure while drilling at a speed appropriate for the type of wood. Use backing material when drilling through thin or delicate workpieces to minimise tear-out. Clear chips from the hole periodically for optimal cutting performance.

Recommendations

For best results, select a moderate drill speed for hardwoods and a higher speed for softwoods. Secure the workpiece, wear appropriate eye protection, and replace the bit when the cutting edges become dull to maintain clean holes.
