Hrubý čistiaci kotúč 3M XT-DC Pro 100×13 mm pre vreteno SXCRS

The Abrasive coarse cleaning disc 3M XT-DC Pro 100×13 mm is a heavy-duty surface preparation accessory designed for use with SXCRS spindle systems. It is engineered to remove coatings, rust, paint and stubborn contaminants from metal and other durable substrates. The 100 mm diameter and 13 mm mounting hole size make it compatible with SXCRS spindles, offering robust performance for industrial maintenance, refurbishment and pre-treatment tasks.

Advantages

This coarse cleaning disc delivers high material removal rates and consistent abrasive action for fast surface stripping. Its construction is optimized to resist premature wear while maintaining cutting efficiency on tough deposits. The design supports stable operation on SXCRS spindle systems, reducing the time required for manual scraping and grinding and enabling repeatable results across multiple workpieces.

Suitable for

• Aggressive removal of paint, coatings and varnish from metal surfaces
• Rust and scale removal on structural and sheet metal components
• Surface cleaning prior to welding, brazing or repainting
• Industrial maintenance and refurbishment of machinery and equipment
• Preparation of heavy-duty ferrous substrates for subsequent finishing

Key specifications

• Diameter: 100 mm
• Mounting hole size: 13 mm compatible with SXCRS spindle systems
• Abrasive grade: coarse (designed for aggressive material removal)
• Intended substrates: metal and other robust materials
• Typical applications: coating and rust removal, surface preparation

How to use

Install the disc onto the SXCRS spindle following the spindle manufacturer's mounting instructions, ensuring secure attachment and correct orientation. Operate the spindle at the recommended speed for coarse abrasives and apply steady, even pressure while moving the disc across the surface to avoid gouging. Keep the tool moving to maintain an even finish and to extend disc life; inspect the disc periodically and replace it when wear reduces performance or the abrasive backing becomes compromised.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment including face and eye protection, gloves and respiratory protection when removing coatings or rust. Test on a small area first to confirm compatibility with the substrate and to establish the correct working speed and pressure. Avoid excessive heat buildup by moderating pressure and tool speed; for non-ferrous or thin materials, consider using a finer abrasive to prevent damage.
