Hypertec 858633-HY sieťový kábel červený 1 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Hypertec 858633-HY Red 1m Cat7 S/FTP is a 1-metre networking cable engineered for high-speed wired connections. Built to Cat7 specification with S/FTP shielding, the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk to support reliable data transfer in demanding network environments. It comes with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and a snagless LSZH jacket in a distinctive red finish, combining practical performance with clear visual identification in patch panels and cabling runs.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding provides individual pair foil plus an overall braided shield that improves signal integrity and reduces external noise. The Cat7 grade supports higher bandwidths and tighter pair performance than earlier categories, making it suitable for fast Ethernet, gigabit and multi-gigabit links. RJ-45 terminations on both ends ensure compatibility with standard network ports without the need for adapters. The snagless connector design protects the plug latch during installation and the LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket reduces toxic smoke and corrosive gases in the event of fire.

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network port until the latch clicks to ensure a secure connection. Use the cable for direct device-to-device links or patch panel connections; avoid sharp bends and excessive tension to maintain signal integrity. For permanent installations, route the cable through cable management channels or trays and secure at regular intervals to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep cable runs within recommended lengths for the application and avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines. When deploying in shared or critical infrastructure, test link speed and error rates after installation to confirm expected throughput.
