i-tec pasívny DisplayPort na HDMI adaptér (max. 4K/30Hz)

Extend your desktop with the i-tec Passive DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter 4K 30Hz. This passive adapter connects a DisplayPort++ (DP++) output on a laptop or desktop to an HDMI display, supporting up to 4K at 30 Hz. The adapter requires a DP++ port (it will not work on DisplayPort ports that are not labeled DP++).

Advantages

The adapter is plug-and-play: insert it into the computer's DisplayPort, attach an HDMI cable to the display, and the system installs the necessary driver automatically. It supports common DisplayPort variants including DisplayLink and Thunderbolt connections with a maximum output of 4K/30 Hz, and with DisplayPort over USB-C it supports Full HD (1080p) at 60 Hz. The passive design keeps the adapter compact and cable-free between host and adapter.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops or desktops with a DP++ port to HDMI monitors or TVs
• Extending or mirroring a desktop to an external HDMI display
• Use with docking stations or video adapters that expose a DP++ output

Key specifications

• Brand: ITEC
• Model: DP2HDMI4K30HZ
• Interface (host): DisplayPort (requires DP++)
• Output: HDMI
• Maximum resolution: 4K (3840×2160) at 30 Hz
• DisplayPort over USB-C (if used): up to FHD (1920×1080) at 60 Hz

How to use

Plug the i-tec passive adapter into the computer's DisplayPort++ connector, then connect an HDMI cable from the adapter to the HDMI input of the monitor or TV. Switch the display input to the connected HDMI port; the operating system should detect the external display and install any required driver automatically. Adjust display resolution and arrangement in the system display settings as needed.

Recommendations

For best results use a high-quality HDMI cable rated for the target resolution. Verify that the computer's DisplayPort is marked DP++ before purchase and use. If connected via a docking station or adapter, check the product code to determine if the port uses DisplayLink, Thunderbolt, or USB-C to confirm the expected maximum resolution.
