ICY DOCK flexiDOCK MB795SP-B - skriňa pre pamäťové úložiská - 2.5, 3.5 (6,4 cm, 8,9 cm) - čierna (MB795SP-B)

The ICY DOCK flexiDOCK MB795SP-B combines a 3.5" and a 2.5" hot-swappable SATA HDD/SSD bay into a single external 5.25" drive bay. The tray-less design allows easy insertion and removal of bare drives without tools or screws. Individual front LEDs show power and activity status, and separate power switches let you cut power to each drive independently. The enclosure uses a metal outer chassis with ABS internal components, includes ventilation and a retractable dust cover for the 3.5" bay, and supports 2.5" drives up to 15mm high when the 3.5" bay is unused or up to 9.5mm when both bays are populated.

Advantages

The MB795SP-B provides tool-free, tray-less swapping for both 2.5" and 3.5" SATA drives, reducing handling time and connector wear. Dual power switches and individual LED indicators improve control and status visibility for each drive. Locking SATA data and power connectors enhance cable reliability, while the metal chassis and ABS internals balance durability and stability. Built-in ventilation and a retractable dust cover help protect drives and maintain operating temperatures.

Suitable for

• Home and media PCs that need additional internal storage
• Computer repair shops and IT professionals testing multiple drives
• Forensic and data-recovery work where quick drive access is required
• In-vehicle systems or compact builds that use a 5.25" bay

How to use

Power off the system if preferred, then slide a bare 2.5" or 3.5" SATA drive directly into the corresponding bay until it seats on the internal SATA connector. Use the recessed front area to grip and remove a 3.5" drive or pull the exposed 2.5" drive out by hand. Toggle the individual power switches to provide or cut power to each drive as needed. Connect the external SATA data and power cables with their locking latches to ensure a secure connection.

Recommendations

When frequently swapping drives, use the power switches to remove power before removing a drive to minimise wear on the internal SATA connectors. Keep the retractable dust cover closed when the 3.5" bay is not in use and ensure adequate case ventilation to maintain optimal drive temperatures.
