InfiniBand/optický kábel BlueOptics 55114307-BL 5 m SFP+ konektor samec/konektor samec

The BlueOptics 55114307-BL is a 5 m InfiniBand/fibre optic cable with SFP+ male-to-male connectors designed for high-speed data transmission in networking environments. The cable combines optical transmission with InfiniBand compatibility to support low-latency, high-throughput links between switches, servers, storage arrays and network interface cards. Its 5 metre length provides a balance between reach and neat cable management in racks and data centre aisles.

Advantages

This BlueOptics fibre optic cable offers SFP+ male connectors for plug-and-play compatibility with SFP+ ports, enabling reliable signal integrity and reduced electromagnetic interference compared with copper alternatives. The optical medium supports high bandwidths and is suitable for environments that require stable, long-distance links without performance degradation. The 5 m length aids flexible routing and reduces the need for adapters or intermediate patch panels in many standard rack layouts.

Suitable for

• Connecting SFP+ ports between switches and servers
• High-speed links in data centres and server rooms
• Storage area network (SAN) interconnects
• InfiniBand environments requiring optical cabling

Key specifications

• Cable type: Fibre optic for InfiniBand/SFP+ applications
• Connector type: SFP+ male to SFP+ male
• Length: 5 metres
• Colour: Blue
• Transmission: Optical, suitable for low-latency, high-throughput links

How to use

Ensure both devices support SFP+ optical transceiver connections and that ports are powered down or in a hot-pluggable state per equipment guidelines. Insert each SFP+ connector into the corresponding port until it latches, then verify link status on both endpoints. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain; maintain minimum bend radius as recommended for fibre optic cabling. If required, test the link with appropriate network diagnostics to confirm expected throughput and error rates.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable by the connectors and avoid excessive bending. Use in environments with appropriate fibre handling practices, and check compatibility with SFP+ ports and InfiniBand configurations before installation.
