InfiniBand/optický kábel Cisco SFP-H25G-CU1.5M= 1,5 m

The Cisco SFP-H25G-CU1.5M= is a 1.5 m InfiniBand/fibre optic cable with SFP28 connectors on both ends, designed to provide high-speed, low-latency connectivity for data center and enterprise network environments. Its 1.5 meter length balances reach and cable management, while the SFP28 form factor ensures compatibility with equipment supporting 25G and related high-performance ports. The cable is intended for short-range interconnects between switches, servers, and host adapters.

Advantages

This InfiniBand/fibre optic cable offers deterministic signal integrity and reduced latency through a direct-attach SFP28 connection. The compact and flexible construction simplifies routing in dense rack environments and helps maintain tidy cable management. Designed by a major networking manufacturer, the cable supports reliable, repeatable connections and is suitable for environments where consistent throughput and minimal overhead are required.

Suitable for

• Short-reach interconnects between switches and servers in data centers
• Direct-attach connections for 25G-capable SFP28 ports
• High-performance computing clusters and storage networks
• Patch cabling inside racks and between adjacent equipment

Key specifications

• Length: 1.5 m
• Connector type: SFP28 on both ends
• Media type: InfiniBand / fibre optic compatible direct-attach cable
• Supported data rate: designed for 25G-class connections
• Cable flexibility: compact, flexible jacket for rack routing

How to use

Ensure both devices have compatible SFP28 ports and are powered down or hot-swap capable according to your equipment guidelines. Align the connector keying and insert each SFP28 end into the respective port until it latches. Verify link status on connected devices and confirm appropriate port configuration for 25G operation. For removal, release the latch and pull straight out to avoid stressing the connector or port.

Recommendations

Install the cable in a manner that avoids tight bends and excessive strain; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius to preserve signal integrity. Use this cable for short-distance connections within racks or between adjacent racks—avoid long runs beyond the specified length. Verify firmware and port settings on switches and servers to ensure optimal 25G performance and compatibility.
