InLine adaptérový kábel ku klávesnici 5-pol DIN konektor samica / PS/2 konektor samec cca 10 cm

The InLine Keyboard Adapter Cable 5 Pin DIN female to PS/2 male (model 39340) is a short adapter cable approximately 10 cm long that connects AT-style keyboards with a 5-pin DIN plug to a PS/2 keyboard port. The cable is beige and intended to provide a simple wired connection where direct plugging is required between legacy keyboards and systems with PS/2 sockets.

Advantages

This adapter cable offers a compact length for use in confined spaces, a standard 5-pin DIN female connector compatible with AT keyboards, and a PS/2 male connector for direct connection to PS/2 ports. Its neutral beige colour matches many legacy systems and reduces cable clutter by eliminating the need for larger adapters.

Suitable for

• Connecting AT (5‑pin DIN) keyboards to PS/2 keyboard ports
• Use in desktop PCs, workstations, and industrial equipment with PS/2 input
• Situations where a short cable is needed to bridge connectors without excess length

Key specifications

• Connector A: 5-pin DIN female
• Connector B: PS/2 male
• Length: approximately 10 cm

How to use

Align the 5-pin DIN male plug of the keyboard with the 5-pin DIN female connector on the adapter and insert gently until it seats. Then insert the PS/2 male connector into the PS/2 keyboard port on the computer or device. Ensure connectors are oriented correctly to avoid bending pins; no drivers or configuration are required for standard PS/2 keyboard support.

Recommendations

Use the adapter in environments where PS/2 ports are present and avoid applying excessive force when connecting or disconnecting to protect the connector pins. Keep the cable away from sharp edges and liquids to maintain reliable mechanical and electrical contact.
