The InLine HDMI to DisplayPort Converter Cable 4K black/gold 1.5m enables connection of a DisplayPort monitor to a computer or device with an HDMI output. The cable provides electronic conversion of the image signal and supports up to 4K resolution. One end has a DisplayPort connector and the other end combines an HDMI connector with a USB power plug; the USB power (5V/500mA) must be connected on the HDMI side to supply the converter.

Advantages

This converter cable supports 4K video, integrates DisplayPort and HDMI connections in a single 1.5 m cable, and includes a dedicated USB power line for stable conversion. The black/gold finish offers a neutral appearance suitable for most setups, and UL certification indicates compliance with recognized safety standards.

Suitable for

• Connecting an HDMI-output laptop or PC to a DisplayPort monitor
• Extending video output to a DisplayPort display for presentations
• Using HDMI sources with DisplayPort-only screens in office or home setups

How to use

Plug the DisplayPort connector into the monitor's DisplayPort input and connect the HDMI plug to the source device's HDMI output. Connect the USB power plug to a USB port or USB power adapter capable of supplying 5V/500mA to enable the internal signal conversion. After connections are made, select the DisplayPort input on the monitor and set the output resolution on the source device if necessary.

Recommendations

Use a USB port or adapter that provides a stable 5V/500mA supply; insufficient power may prevent proper signal conversion. For best results, use HDMI output settings that match the monitor's supported 4K modes and avoid long HDMI extension chains between the source and the converter.
