How to use

Slide the dust cap over the fibre optic connector end until it fits securely over the ferrule or connector housing. Ensure the connector is clean before capping to avoid trapping debris. To remove, gently pull the cap straight off to avoid bending the fibre or stressing the connector.

Recommendations

Store caps on clean, dry surfaces and keep them in the original packaging when not in use. Regularly inspect caps for cracks or deformation and replace damaged pieces to maintain effective dust and scratch protection.
