InLine TAE-F DSL adaptér, TAE-F konektor samec / RJ45 konektor samica, 8P2C pre Fritzbox, sivý

The InLine TAE-F DSL Adapter InLine 69949 is a compact cable interface adapter that converts a TAE-F male connection to an RJ45 female jack for straightforward connection to compatible DSL equipment such as Fritzbox devices. Its small form factor and lightweight design make it suitable for tight installation spaces where a direct connection between legacy TAE outlets and modern RJ45-based DSL modems is required. The adapter is finished in grey and provides a simple mechanical interface without additional electronics.

Advantages

This adapter offers a compact and durable solution for adapting a TAE-F plug to an RJ45 socket, reducing the need for replacement cables or extensive rewiring. The design supports easy plug-and-play installation and minimizes space usage behind routers or wall outlets. The adapter's robust connector housings help maintain a stable physical connection and reduce wear on existing cable ends.

Key specifications

• Connector 1: TAE-F male
• Connector 2: RJ45 female (8P2C wiring compatible)
• Colour: Grey
• Housing: Compact, lightweight mechanical adapter

How to use

Insert the TAE-F male plug into a compatible TAE wall socket or telephone cable and connect the RJ45 female end to the DSL modem or router using an RJ45 patch cable. Ensure connectors are fully seated to maintain reliable contact. No power or configuration changes are required on devices; the adapter simply provides a physical connection between the two connector types.

Recommendations

For best results, use the adapter in dry indoor environments and avoid placing heavy stress on the connector junction. If intermittent connectivity occurs, check both cable ends and replace any worn cables. The adapter is intended for signal routing between TAE-F and RJ45 interfaces and is not a surge protection or filtering device.
