InLine U.2 prepojovací kábel, SSD s U.2 (SFF-8639) na SFF-8643 + napájanie, 0,75 m

The InLine 29620B U.2 connection cable is designed to link NVMe SSDs with a U.2 (SFF-8639) interface to hosts or controllers using an SFF-8643 port with power. With a 0.75 m length and male connectors at both ends, the cable carries both data and power for internal high-performance storage configurations.

Advantages

The cable provides a direct connection between U.2 NVMe drives and SFF-8643 hosts, combining data transfer and power delivery in a single assembly. Its 0.75 m length is suitable for typical internal server and workstation layouts, and the black jacket offers standard compatibility with most chassis interiors. Both ends use male connectors for plug-and-play installation with compatible ports.

Suitable for

• Connecting U.2 (SFF-8639) NVMe SSDs to controllers or backplanes with SFF-8643 ports
• Internal server and workstation storage installations
• High-performance storage arrays that require combined data and power cabling

How to use

Power down the system and open the chassis according to the manufacturer's instructions. Locate the NVMe SSD with the U.2 connector and the SFF-8643 port on the host or controller. Align and insert the male U.2 connector into the SSD and the male SFF-8643 connector into the host/backplane port. Ensure both connectors are fully seated and secured if the chassis or backplane provides locking mechanisms. Close the chassis, power on the system, and verify that the drive is detected by the firmware or operating system.

Recommendations

Use the cable for internal connections only. Avoid excessive bending or pulling to prevent damage to the connectors and internal wiring. Confirm compatibility of the U.2 drive and the host SFF-8643 port before installation and follow ESD precautions when handling components.
