InLine USB display kábel, USB-C konektor samec / VGA konektor samec (DP Alt Mode), čierny, 2 m

The InLine 64142 USB Display Cable is a 2 m black cable with a USB Type-C male connector and a VGA (D-Sub) male connector. It is designed to connect USB-C computers and devices that support DisplayPort Alternate Mode — including systems with Thunderbolt 3 — to VGA monitors and projectors for transmission of video signals without an external power supply.

Advantages

This USB-C to VGA cable supports resolutions from VGA (640 x 480) up to WUXGA (1920 x 1600) and is compatible with DisplayPort 1.2 and USB 3.1 standards. The contacts are gold plated for improved conductivity and corrosion resistance. The cable is plug & play, USB powered and does not require an external adapter or driver for typical supported systems.

Suitable for

• Connecting USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 laptops to VGA monitors
• Presentations with projectors that accept VGA input
• Extending or mirroring displays to legacy VGA displays

How to use

Connect the USB Type-C plug to a computer or device whose USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode (often marked with a DP logo) or to a Thunderbolt 3 port. Plug the VGA connector into the VGA input of a monitor or projector. The cable is USB powered and should establish a video signal automatically on supported operating systems; no separate power supply is needed. If necessary, select the external display in the operating system display settings.

Recommendations

Verify that the source device’s USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode (or is a Thunderbolt 3 port) before use; otherwise video transmission will not be available. For best image quality, use at resolutions supported by both the source device and the VGA display.
