INNE VGA Audio Extender Delta Multimedia VGA AU UTP – VGA a stereo audio cez UTP

The INNE Delta Multimedia VGA Audio Extender (VGA AU UTP) sends VGA video and stereo audio over a single UTP cable, allowing a computer or video source to be connected to a remote display and speakers without long VGA and audio cable runs. The device is intended for environments where video and separate audio must be routed together across extended distances, such as classrooms, meeting rooms, presentation spaces and digital signage installations. It supports standard VGA resolutions and unbalanced stereo audio transmission over unshielded twisted pair wiring to simplify installation and reduce cable clutter.

Advantages

This VGA and stereo audio extender enables simultaneous transmission of analog video and audio using a single UTP cable, reducing the number of physical cables and installation complexity. The design is compatible with common VGA sources and displays and preserves stereo audio channels for separate left/right sound. Using UTP cabling allows longer runs than typical VGA/audio patch cables and offers easier routing through ceilings, conduits and cable trays. The unit is suitable for fixed installations where reliable analog signal delivery is required.

Suitable for

• Classrooms and lecture halls where a PC is connected to a distant projector or monitor
• Meeting and conference rooms with remote displays and speakers
• Presentation spaces and training facilities requiring separate audio routing
• Digital signage installations where VGA video and stereo audio must reach remote screens

Key specifications

• Signal type: Analog VGA video and stereo (left/right) audio
• Transmission medium: Unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable
• Audio channels: Stereo, unbalanced
• Supported display connection: Standard VGA (analog RGBHV)
• Intended use: Extending video and audio over longer cable distances

How to use

Connect the VGA and stereo audio outputs of the source device to the transmitter unit, then connect a UTP cable from the transmitter to the receiver located near the remote display and speakers. At the receiver end, connect the VGA output to the display and the audio outputs to the amplifier or active speakers. Ensure cable terminations follow standard UTP pairing practices and that the total cable length remains within the extender's supported range for reliable signal quality. Power the units if separate power adapters are required.

Recommendations

For best performance, use good-quality Cat5e or Cat6 UTP cable, avoid running the UTP alongside strong power lines, and keep total cable length within the vendor-specified limits. Verify display resolution compatibility before installation and test audio routing to confirm left/right channels are correctly assigned.
