IP kamera Hikvision DS-2CD20123G2-LIUY/SL (2,8 mm) 12 MP sieťové sledovanie

Hikvision DS-2CD20123G2-LIUY/SL (2.8mm) is a 12 MP IP camera designed for networked video surveillance with a fixed 2.8 mm lens that provides wide-angle coverage. The camera supports continuous recording, remote live view and playback, and integration with common NVRs and video management systems. Built to operate in typical indoor and outdoor installations, it delivers 2 megapixel resolution suitable for general-purpose monitoring where clear identification at short to medium distances is required.

Advantages

The camera combines a 12 MP image sensor with a 2.8 mm fixed lens to deliver a broad field of view for monitoring corridors, rooms and open areas. Network connectivity enables remote access and centralized recording, while compatibility with standard VMS and NVR solutions simplifies system integration. The design supports both indoor and outdoor placement, making it a flexible option for residential, commercial and light industrial surveillance applications.

Suitable for

• Monitoring entrances, hallways and retail spaces
• General outdoor perimeter and driveway observation
• Small- to medium-sized offices and common areas
• Integration into IP-based surveillance systems with NVR or VMS

Key specifications

• Image resolution: 2 megapixels
• Lens: fixed 2.8 mm for wide-angle coverage
• Network: IP camera with standard network streaming and remote access
• Recording modes: continuous recording and remote playback support
• Mounting: suitable for wall or ceiling mounting in indoor and sheltered outdoor locations

How to use

Mount the camera in a stable position using appropriate brackets for wall or ceiling installation, aiming the 2.8 mm lens to cover the desired wide field of view. Connect the camera to the local network using Ethernet (and PoE if available) or follow the manufacturer’s network setup procedure to configure IP address and stream settings. Add the camera to an NVR or VMS using ONVIF or the supported network protocol, set recording schedules and adjust image settings such as exposure and white balance for the installation environment.

Recommendations

Place the camera at a height and angle that balance field of view and identification needs; the 2.8 mm lens favors wider scenes over long-range detail. For outdoor installations, ensure the mounting location offers protection from direct weather exposure where possible, and use PoE for simplified power and network cabling. Regularly verify firmware and network configurations to maintain compatibility and security.
