Irix Revo UV a ochranný filter 46mm

Landscape photographers shooting in coastal or high-altitude environments need a filter that protects their lens without compromising image clarity. The Irix Revo UV & Protector 46mm is built for exactly that: a slim, lightweight aluminum frame holding super white optical glass with a 16-layer multi-coating. It blocks UV light up to 390nm, reduces haze, and delivers over 99.5% light transmission, so your images stay sharp and colour-accurate. The hydrophobic and oleophobic coatings repel water and fingerprints, while the anti-static and scratch-resistant properties keep the filter clean and durable in the field.

Why choose it

The Irix Revo UV & Protector 46mm is a permanent lens guard that doesn't degrade image quality. Its multi-coating minimises flare and ghosting, while the slim profile avoids vignetting on wide-angle lenses. The durable aluminum frame and scratch-resistant glass withstand daily use, and the water/oil repellent coatings make cleaning effortless. It's a practical investment for any photographer who wants to protect their lens without sacrificing performance.

Ideal use cases

• Protecting the front element of a 46mm-thread lens from dust, moisture, and accidental impacts.
• Reducing atmospheric haze and UV-induced bluish cast in outdoor photography, especially at high altitudes or near water.
• Keeping the lens clean in challenging conditions thanks to hydrophobic and oleophobic coatings.
• Serving as a permanent, transparent filter for everyday shooting where no light reduction is desired.

Good to know

The filter has both front and rear threads, allowing you to stack additional filters or attach a lens cap. It comes in a slim, low-profile frame that measures only 4.1mm thick, minimising the chance of vignetting on wide-angle lenses. The filter factor is 1, meaning it requires no exposure compensation. The Irix Revo series is known for its high-quality optical glass and precision manufacturing, ensuring consistent performance.
