IWH odpudzovač kun 78407 — elektronický odpudzovač kun, 1 ks

The IWH Marderabwehr 78407 is an electronic marten repellent device supplied as a single unit. Designed to deter martens from cars, engines and storage areas, this compact device emits electronic signals that discourage animals from approaching and nesting without using toxic substances. It is intended for installation near vehicle engines, in garages or other areas where martens cause damage to cables, hoses and insulation.

Advantages

The device provides a non-lethal, chemical-free method to reduce marten damage by emitting targeted electronic deterrent signals. Its single-piece design simplifies installation and positioning near the protected area. The unit is appropriate for use in confined locations such as underbonnets, garages and storage rooms where it can operate continuously to lower the risk of chewing and nesting.

How to use

Place the IWH Marderabwehr 78407 close to the area requiring protection, for example mounted near the engine compartment or fixed to a garage wall facing the likely access points. Ensure the device is positioned so its signals are directed toward the space where martens may approach or nest. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for power connection and secure mounting. Allow continuous operation for best results, and inspect the unit and surrounding area periodically to confirm proper function and placement.

Recommendations

For effective deterrence, combine correct placement with regular checks of cables, hoses and insulation. Use the device as part of an integrated approach: seal obvious access points, remove attractants and maintain the protected area to reduce shelter and food sources.
