Jednoduchý hrniec Staub Cocotte 24 cm čerešňa

The Staub Single Pan Cocotte 24 cm in Cherry is a cast-iron cookware piece engineered for even heat distribution and slow cooking. With a 24 cm diameter and 4.8 kg weight, it is suitable for braising, simmering and oven use. The pan’s enamel finish and classic design make it suitable for all heat sources, including induction, and for serving directly at the table.

Advantages

The cocotte features a heavy cast-iron body that retains and distributes heat evenly for consistent results. Its lid is fitted with internal spikes that create a continuous self-basting cycle, allowing condensed juices to drip uniformly back onto the food, concentrating flavours while preserving nutrients. The robust enamel coating is resistant to high temperatures and easy to clean.

Suitable for

• Slow-cooking stews and braises
• Simmering soups and sauces
• Oven roasting and finishing dishes
• Stovetop use on gas, electric and induction hobs
• Serving meals directly from the pan

How to use

Preheat the pan gradually on low to medium heat to ensure even temperature distribution. Use the cocotte for browning ingredients on the stovetop, then add liquids and transfer to the oven if required for slow cooking or braising. The lid’s self-basting spikes will collect and redistribute condensation during simmering; avoid removing the lid frequently to maintain this cycle. Clean after cooling and follow care instructions for enameled cast iron to preserve the finish.

Recommendations

To protect the enamel and ensure long life, avoid sudden temperature shocks (do not place a hot pan directly under cold water) and use wooden, silicone or nylon utensils to prevent scratching the surface.
