Kábel DC napäťového meniča Akasa AK-CBFA10-60BK z USB na 3-pin & 4-pin PC ventilátor, 60 cm

Akasa AK-CBFA10-60BK is a DC step-up voltage converter cable that adapts a USB power source to standard 3-pin and 4-pin PC fan connectors. The built-in converter raises the USB 5V output to the voltage required by many low-power fans, allowing you to power, test, or run case fans from a USB port without using a motherboard fan header or full power supply. The 60 cm cable and compact inline converter provide reach and convenience for bench testing, temporary installations, or troubleshooting fan operation.

Advantages

The cable offers a simple, plug-and-play solution for powering 3-pin and 4-pin PC fans from USB, combining a short 60 cm lead with an inline DC step-up converter for stable output. It eliminates the need to open a system to access a PSU or motherboard header for quick fan checks. The compact design keeps the converter close to the fan connector, reducing cable clutter while providing reliable power for low-current fans.

Suitable for

• Testing and troubleshooting case fans on a workbench
• Temporarily powering low-power 3-pin or 4-pin fans from a USB port
• Running fans in external test rigs or prototype enclosures
• Replacing or bypassing a faulty PSU/header for short-term diagnostics

Key specifications

• Cable type: USB to 3-pin and 4-pin PC fan connectors
• Function: DC step-up voltage converter integrated inline
• Input: standard USB 5V power source
• Output: boosted DC voltage suitable for many low-power PC fans (inline converter)
• Length: 60 cm total cable length
• Connector compatibility: standard 3-pin (DC) and 4-pin (PWM) fan headers
• Form factor: compact inline converter module

How to use

Connect the USB plug to a powered USB port or USB power adapter, then attach the 3-pin or 4-pin fan connector to the fan header. Ensure the fan polarity and connector type match the fan being powered. Use the 4-pin connector when PWM functionality is not required or when the fan accepts a 4-pin plug; the cable provides the necessary power conversion but does not add motherboard control signals. Monitor fan operation and temperature during initial testing to confirm correct rotation and stable power delivery.

Recommendations

Use this cable with low-current 3-pin and 4-pin PC fans and standard USB power sources. Avoid connecting high-power fans or multiple fans in parallel to a single USB port. For permanent installations or where fan speed control is required, use a proper motherboard header or PSU connection. Inspect connectors before use and ensure the USB source can supply sufficient current for the fan.
