Kábel SAVIO CL-207 USB-C na DisplayPort 2,0 m, podpora DisplayPort 1.2

The SAVIO CL-207 is a 2 m USB-C to DisplayPort cable that connects laptops, tablets or smartphones with USB-C (Alt Mode) to monitors with DisplayPort input. Designed for wired video transmission, the cable supports the DisplayPort 1.2 standard and delivers up to 17.28 Gbps of bandwidth. With support for 4K at 60 Hz and Full HD at up to 240 Hz, the CL-207 is suitable for desktop extensions, presentations and multimedia playback where a stable, high-quality video link is required.

Advantages

The cable provides reliable video transmission with DisplayPort 1.2 compatibility and sufficient bandwidth for high-resolution and high-refresh-rate signals. Its 2 m length increases connection flexibility and simplifies workstation layout. A slim and lightweight design (AWG 32, 4.8 mm diameter) makes the cable easy to route and handle, while the black finish fits common office and home setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting a laptop or tablet with USB-C (Alt Mode) to a DisplayPort monitor for extended desktop use
• Presentations and meeting rooms where a wired, low-latency video connection is required
• Watching 4K video content at 60 Hz on an external display
• High-frame-rate Full HD use such as fast-paced multimedia or competitive gaming at up to 240 Hz

When it may not be suitable

The CL-207 requires a source device that supports USB-C DisplayPort Alternate Mode; it will not transmit video from USB-C ports that lack Alt Mode support. The cable follows the DisplayPort 1.2 standard, so it does not provide features introduced in newer DisplayPort versions such as higher bandwidth for native 8K at high refresh rates or some advanced multi-stream transport capabilities.

Key specifications

• Cable type: USB-C (male) to DisplayPort (male)
• Length: 2 m
• Display standard supported: DisplayPort 1.2
• Maximum bandwidth: up to 17.28 Gbps
• Maximum resolution and refresh rates: up to 4K (3840×2160) at 60 Hz; Full HD (1920×1080) at up to 240 Hz
• Cable gauge and diameter: AWG 32, approximately 4.8 mm outer diameter
• Colour: Black
• Weight: approx. 0.062 kg

How to use

Connect the USB-C end of the CL-207 to a device that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode and plug the DisplayPort end into the monitor's DisplayPort input. Select the appropriate input source on the monitor and configure display settings on the computer or mobile device as needed (resolution and refresh rate). For optimal results, ensure the source device drivers and display firmware are up to date. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and excessive strain on connectors.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm that your source device supports USB-C DisplayPort Alternate Mode for video output
• Check the target monitor's supported resolutions and refresh rates to ensure compatibility
• Consider cable length (2 m) relative to your workspace and routing needs
• If you need higher bandwidth features (for example for 8K or advanced multi-monitor MST setups), verify whether a newer DisplayPort standard or an active adapter is required

Recommendations

Use the CL-207 for direct wired connections between USB-C (Alt Mode) devices and DisplayPort monitors. Avoid sharp bends and stress on connectors, and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources to maintain signal integrity. Update device drivers and monitor firmware for best compatibility and performance.
