It provides a reliable seal to prevent ingress of moisture and dust and ensures effective strain relief for cables to reduce stress on connections. The single-piece supply simplifies installation and inventory management.

Suitable for

• Sealing cable entry points on electrical enclosures
• Industrial and commercial electrical installations
• Applications requiring strain relief for single cables
• Situations where a compact, metal cable gland is preferred

How to use

Drill or prepare an appropriately sized hole in the enclosure. Insert the cable through the gland body and position the gland in the housing hole. Tighten the gland to compress the sealing elements and secure the cable, ensuring the connection is watertight and the cable is held firmly to provide strain relief. Follow standard electrical installation procedures and safety precautions during fitting.

Recommendations

Verify compatibility with the cable diameter and enclosure hole size before installation. Use appropriate tools to avoid over-tightening, and inspect the gland periodically for signs of corrosion or wear in demanding environments.
