How to use

Drill or prepare an appropriately sized hole in the housing, insert the cable gland, and route the flat cable or electrical tube through the gland. Tighten the gland according to the housing design so that the integrated seal compresses and creates a watertight closure. Ensure the cable is positioned to avoid sharp bends or undue stress at the entry point.

Recommendations

Check the housing hole diameter and the cable outer dimensions before installation to ensure proper sealing. For outdoor or submerged applications, verify the IP68 requirement is met for the whole assembly and periodically inspect the seal for wear.
