Káblový zámok FISCHER 85903 — 850 mm čierne oceľové bezpečnostné lanko

FISCHER Cable lock 85903 is an 850 mm black steel security cable designed to secure bicycles, equipment and other portable items. The cable combines a flexible steel core with a protective outer coating to prevent surface damage while providing visible deterrence against opportunistic theft. An integrated locking mechanism allows quick one-handed locking and unlocking for everyday use.

Advantages

The coated steel construction balances flexibility and resistance, making it easy to loop around frames, posts or equipment handles while resisting cutting attempts typical of casual thieves. The compact length of 850 mm is convenient for everyday carry and storage. The integrated lock design eliminates the need to carry a separate padlock and enables fast attachment. The black finish reduces visual contrast while contributing to a low-profile appearance.

Suitable for

• Securing bicycles for short stops in urban environments
• Locking portable tools and garden equipment
• Securing luggage, backpacks and briefcases
• Temporary securing of outdoor furniture or sports equipment

Key specifications

• Cable length: 850 mm
• Material: steel core with protective outer coating
• Color: black
• Lock type: integrated locking mechanism
• Design: compact, flexible security cable

How to use

Wrap the cable around the item to be secured and a fixed anchor point such as a bike rack, post or railing. Insert the cable end into the integrated lock and engage the locking mechanism according to the lock operation (turn, push or key operation depending on the model). Ensure the cable is pulled tight and positioned to minimise access to the lock and cable by potential thieves. To unlock, operate the integrated lock using the appropriate action and remove the cable from the secured item.

Recommendations

Use this cable lock as an effective deterrent for short-term security needs and in combination with a more robust lock (chain or U-lock) when leaving valuable items unattended for extended periods. Avoid leaving the cable exposed to corrosive environments for long durations; dry and store it indoors when not in use. Regularly inspect the coating and locking mechanism for wear and maintain lubrication of the lock if applicable.
