Kliešte DELOCK 86773 – kovová konštrukcia, oceľové rukoväte, červené rukoväte

DELOCK 86773 pliers are compact metal hand tools with steel handles finished in red, designed for general gripping, holding and cable tie installation tasks. The tool combines a durable metal construction with solid steel handles to provide a compact yet sturdy plier suitable for light to medium workshop, household and DIY applications. Additionally, this tool enables tightening and cutting plastic cable ties up to 9.5 mm wide and 2.3 mm thick in a single operation, simplifying cable management and fastening work.

Advantages

The plier’s metal construction and steel handles ensure strength and longevity while remaining compact enough for confined spaces. Integrated cable tie functionality allows the user to push a tie through the front tie block, tighten it by operating the upper handle and cut the excess in one step, reducing the need for separate cutting and tensioning tools. The red handle finish improves visibility in a toolbox or on a workbench and provides a firm grip for manual tasks.

Suitable for

• Light to medium workshop tasks requiring gripping, holding or bending
• Household repairs and DIY projects where a compact, sturdy plier is needed
• Cable management and fastening jobs using plastic cable ties up to 9.5 mm wide
• Electrical and telecom installations that require tidy fastening of cables

Key specifications

• Construction: metal body for durability
• Handles: steel handles with red finish for improved visibility and grip
• Cable tie capacity: supports plastic ties up to 9.5 mm width and 2.3 mm thickness
• Functionality: combined tightening and cutting of cable ties in one operation
• Application range: suitable for light to medium manual tasks in workshop and household environments

How to use

Insert the plastic cable tie through the front tie block and position it around the bundle or object to be fastened. Squeeze the upper handle to tension the tie while the mechanism pulls the tail through the head; continuing the motion will cause the integrated cutter to trim the excess tie flush. For gripping or holding tasks, use the plier jaws as with standard hand pliers, applying controlled pressure to avoid damage to delicate materials. Inspect the tool before use to ensure the cutting and tensioning mechanism operates smoothly.

Recommendations

Use the pliers for cable ties within the specified width and thickness limits to ensure reliable tensioning and clean cutting. Avoid excessive force on oversized ties or on materials that may be damaged by the gripping surfaces. Store the tool in a dry place to prevent corrosion of metal parts and periodically check the cutting edge for wear to maintain consistent performance.
