Klietka na HDD DeLOCK 47228 univerzálny diel počítačovej skrine

This solid metal mobile rack by Delock fits into a free 3.5" bay of a PC and provides vibration protection for installed drives through built-in rubber bumpers. A 2.5" SATA or SAS hard drive can be mounted into the frame; operation with a SAS drive requires a SAS controller. The unit includes a key lock for access control, a hot-swap function for drive exchange during operation, and a locking SATA plug on the exterior to secure cable connection against vibrations. The HDD cage is designed for use in systems subject to movement or vibration.

Advantages

Constructed from solid metal for durability and stability, the DeLOCK 47228 HDD cage reduces horizontal and vertical vibration impact with integrated rubber bumpers. It supports both 2.5" SATA and SAS drives (SAS controller required for SAS), offers a hot-swap mechanism for drive replacement without powering down, and provides physical security via a keyed lock. The external SATA connector features a locking port to keep cables firmly seated.

Suitable for

• Adding or replacing 2.5" SATA drives in a desktop PC
• Installing 2.5" SAS drives where a SAS controller is available
• Systems exposed to vibration or movement (workstations, industrial PCs)
• Environments requiring basic physical access control for drives

How to use

Install the mobile rack into an available 3.5" bay in the PC chassis and secure it according to the case manufacturer’s instructions. Screw a 2.5" SATA or SAS drive into the frame, connect the internal power and data connectors, and close the front mechanism. For SAS drives, ensure a compatible SAS controller is installed in the system. Use the key lock to restrict physical access to the drive. The hot-swap function allows you to insert or remove drives while the system is powered, provided the host and operating system support hot-plugging.

Recommendations

To ensure reliable operation, use appropriately rated SATA/SAS cables and verify that the system BIOS and operating system support hot-swap for the installed drive type. Tighten mounting screws securely and periodically check cable connections, especially in environments with sustained vibration.
