Knipex 12 72 190 kliešte oceľ plastová rukoväť čierna červená 190 mm

The Knipex 12 72 190 plier combines a durable steel head with ergonomic multi-component plastic handles in black and red. At 190 mm overall length and weighing 0.17 kg, this tool is intended for precise gripping, cutting and manipulation tasks in electrical and general network work. It integrates functions for stripping, cutting and crimping single wire ferrules and is suitable for repetitive professional use.

Advantages

Fast and even square crimping for individual wire ferrules is achieved via a ratchet crimping mechanism that guarantees the required crimping pressure and a complete crimping cycle. The integrated stripping function automatically adapts to cable diameter and, together with an adjustable length stop, ensures consistent stripping lengths during repetitive tasks. Multi-component grips provide comfortable, non-slip handling while a glass-fibre-reinforced plastic housing increases durability. The plier also cleanly cuts conductors up to 10 mm² and supports ferrule sizes according to DIN 46228 parts 1 and 4.

Suitable for

• Domestic electrical installations and general wiring
• Crimping single wire ferrules (0.25–4 mm²; 2 x 2.5 mm²)
• Stripping flexible and solid conductors (0.03–10 mm² / AWG 32–8)
• Cutting conductors up to 10 mm²
• Work with PLCs and other electronic device wiring

How to use

Select the appropriate function on the plier (stripping, crimping or cutting). For stripping, set the adjustable length stop to the desired strip length and insert the conductor; the tool will automatically adapt to the cable diameter and the fine adjustment can be used for special materials or temperature conditions. For crimping, insert a single wire ferrule of the correct size into the crimping cavity, operate the ratchet mechanism until the cycle completes to ensure a consistent square crimp. For cutting, place the conductor in the cutting jaws and squeeze the handles cleanly through the cut.

Recommendations

Use the plier within the specified conductor ranges and select ferrule sizes according to DIN 46228 to ensure reliable connections. Do not use the tool on live circuits; verify absence of voltage before working. Regularly inspect the cutting and crimping surfaces for wear and keep the tool clean and dry to maintain performance.
