Koaxiálny konektor F-typ ShiverPeaks BS85010-AG

The ShiverPeaks BS85010-AG is a single-piece F-type coaxial connector designed for reliable RF connections in home entertainment and telecommunications installations. This male connector has a 7.2 mm outer diameter and is intended to mate with standard F-type female ports and compatible coaxial cables. Constructed for routine signal transmission tasks, the connector supports common coaxial cable assemblies and offers a compact form factor suitable for tight spaces behind receivers, set-top boxes and wall plates.

Advantages

The connector provides a secure threaded connection that minimizes signal loss and maintains a stable electrical contact. Its standardized male F-type geometry ensures compatibility with widely used coaxial devices and cable terminations. Being sold individually, it is convenient for single-point repairs or replacements. The metal body delivers mechanical durability for repeated connections and disconnections, while the compact size helps when working in confined installation areas.

Suitable for

• Connecting televisions, set-top boxes and satellite receivers
• Terminating coaxial cables in home and office AV systems
• Repairing or replacing a single F-type connector on existing cabling
• Use with wall plates and inline adapters requiring a male F-type contact

Key specifications

• Connector type: F-type, male
• Outer diameter (male): 7.2 mm
• Sold as: single piece
• Material: metal body for mechanical durability
• Intended use: coaxial RF signal connections for AV and telecommunications

How to use

Prepare the coaxial cable by stripping the outer jacket, braid and dielectric to the appropriate lengths for an F-type termination. Slide the connector onto the prepared cable end, ensuring the centre conductor aligns with the male pin contact and the braid makes reliable contact with the connector body. Thread the connector onto the device or mating jack by hand until snug; avoid overtightening to prevent damage to the connector or equipment. For best results, test the connection with the target device to confirm signal integrity.

Recommendations

Use the connector in dry, indoor environments and avoid exposure to prolonged moisture or corrosive conditions. For installations requiring weather resistance or outdoor use, pair this connector with appropriate sealing methods or select weatherproof variants. When replacing connectors, verify cable compatibility and maintain proper stripping lengths to ensure low-loss connections.
