Kompresný konektor ShiverPeaks 85030-A pre kábel 7,2 mm

The Compression Connector ShiverPeaks 85030-A for 7.2 mm Cables is an F-compression style connector engineered for secure mechanical and electrical termination of coaxial and similar round cables with a 7.2 mm outer diameter. It is intended for use where a compact, low-profile, crimped compression fitting is required in TV, satellite and RF distribution systems. The connector design focuses on reliable signal transfer and consistent contact pressure to minimise loss at the interface.

Advantages

This compression connector provides a stable, vibration-resistant mechanical connection and consistent electrical contact for improved signal integrity. The compression design eliminates the need for soldering, simplifying installation and reducing variability between terminations. Its compact profile supports tight installations behind equipment or within wall plates while maintaining shielding continuity and low return loss when properly installed.

Suitable for

• Terminating 7.2 mm outer diameter coaxial cables in TV distribution systems
• Satellite LNB and receiver cable connections requiring compression fittings
• RF signal distribution where a compact, low-profile F-connector is needed
• Field installations and repairs where consistent, repeatable connections are required

Key specifications

• Connector type: F-compression style
• Cable outer diameter compatibility: 7.2 mm
• Contact method: compression/crimp mechanical contact
• Intended applications: TV, satellite, RF distribution
• Profile: compact, low-profile termination

How to use

Prepare the cable by stripping the outer jacket, braid and dielectric to the dimensions recommended for F-compression terminations for 7.2 mm cables. Slide the connector body onto the prepared cable until the dielectric seats against the connector shoulder and the centre conductor projects into the pin contact. Use the appropriate compression/crimp tool specified for this style of connector to apply a uniform compression around the connector body until the fitting is fully engaged. Verify mechanical retention and electrical continuity with a suitable tester or by checking signal level at the device.

Recommendations

Use the connector with cables that match the stated outer diameter for reliable performance; avoid using on undersized or oversized cables. Employ the correct compression tool for the connector style to ensure consistent crimps and maintain shielding integrity. For installations in moisture-prone environments, use additional sealing methods at the cable entry to protect the connection.
