Kondenzátorový mikrofón Behringer BD440

The Behringer BD440 condenser microphone is a studio-grade large-diaphragm head condenser designed for professional audio capture. It offers a wide frequency response and low self-noise to preserve detail and dynamics in vocal and instrumental recordings. The BD440 features a cardioid polar pattern to reduce off-axis sound and focus on the source, plus a robust metal body suited to regular studio and stage use.

Advantages

The BD440 delivers clear transient response and a neutral tonal balance that supports a variety of voices and instruments. Its low inherent noise floor helps retain detail at lower signal levels, while the cardioid pickup reduces room ambience and background bleed. Durable construction and standardized XLR connectivity ensure compatibility with common preamps and mixing consoles.

Suitable for

• Studio vocal tracking
• Recording acoustic guitars and stringed instruments
• Close-miking of brass and woodwind instruments
• Project studio and home studio sessions
• Live sound reinforcement when a condenser is appropriate

Key specifications

• Transducer type: condenser, large-diaphragm
• Polar pattern: cardioid
• Frequency response: wide-range response suited to vocals and instruments
• Self-noise: low noise design for improved detail
• Connectivity: three-pin balanced analog output (XLR)
• Build: durable metal body for studio and stage use

How to use

Set up the BD440 on a stable microphone stand using a shock mount or clip appropriate for its size. Connect the microphone to a microphone preamp or audio interface via an XLR cable and provide phantom power as required for condenser operation. Position the microphone at an appropriate distance and angle from the sound source—closer for increased presence, farther for more room tone—and use the cardioid orientation to minimize unwanted background noise. Adjust preamp gain to achieve clean signal levels without clipping.

Recommendations

For studio recording, combine the BD440 with a pop filter and shock mount to reduce plosives and mechanical vibrations. When using on stage, monitor for feedback and adjust position relative to monitors. Use a quality preamp and proper gain staging to maximize dynamic range and minimize noise.
