Kotúčová píla Metabo KS 18 LTX 57 BL Brushless 16,5 cm 5000 ot/min

The Metabo KS 18 LTX 57 BL is a lightweight cordless circular saw with a brushless motor, 165 mm blade diameter and a no-load speed of 5000 RPM. It delivers a cutting depth of 57 mm at 90° and is designed for universal use on construction sites and for on-site carpentry work. The aluminium base plate is compatible with guide rails from several manufacturers, enabling precise guided cuts when used with a cross cutting rail.

Advantages

The brushless motor provides higher efficiency and longer runtime while keeping maintenance needs low. The aluminium base plate accepts common guide rails for accurate, repeatable cuts. Built-in features such as a rapid electric brake and CordlessControl for automatic vacuum activation (accessory) increase worksite safety and cleanliness. The saw offers adjustable bevel up to 50° with a detent at 45°, a re-adjustable 0° position for precise alignment, and a clearly visible cutting indicator for accurate follow-up cuts. Ergonomic non-slip soft-grip handle and compact, low-weight design improve control and reduce user fatigue. The tool is compatible with the CAS 18V battery ecosystem.

Suitable for

• Cross cuts and rip cuts in soft and hard wood
• On-site joinery and framing work on construction sites
• Guided straight cuts using compatible guide rails and cross cutting rails
• Portable renovation and carpentry tasks where cordless operation is required

How to use

Fit the correct 165 mm saw blade for the material to be cut and secure the blade guard and base plate. Adjust the cutting depth and bevel angle as required, using the snap-in position at 45° when needed. For guided straight cuts, mount the aluminium base plate onto a compatible guide rail system and couple the saw to a cross cutting rail for precise cross cuts. When cutting, hold the saw with both hands on the soft-grip handle, start the saw to reach full speed, then feed the saw steadily through the workpiece. Use the electric brake and wait for the blade to stop before setting the tool down.

Recommendations

Use appropriate blade types for the material and keep blades sharp for best results. When working with dust-producing materials, connect a compatible vacuum (CordlessControl accessory available) and follow local safety regulations by wearing eye, ear and respiratory protection. Ensure batteries and chargers are compatible with the 18V CAS system and follow manufacturer instructions for charging and battery care.
