The AXIS 02005-001 black dome cover is an optional indoor accessory that replaces the standard white dome cover on compatible AXIS security cameras. It provides a darker finish to the camera housing while maintaining the original fit and mounting compatibility, helping to preserve the camera’s appearance and surface from minor wear.

Advantages

The black dome cover is made to match the dimensions and mounting points of the original part, ensuring straightforward replacement without modifying the camera. Its dark color reduces the visual contrast of the camera in interior environments and contributes to a uniform look with other black fixtures. How to use

Power down the camera or follow the manufacturer’s safe handling instructions before replacing covers. Remove the existing white dome cover according to the camera’s service instructions, align the AXIS 02005-001 cover with the mounting points, and secure it in place until it clicks or fasteners are tightened. Verify that the dome is seated correctly and that camera operation and view are unobstructed before restoring power.

Recommendations

Use this AXIS black dome cover only indoors and with AXIS camera models specified by the manufacturer for compatibility. If the original dome is cracked or damaged, replace it promptly to maintain camera protection and image clarity.
