How to use

Turn off the power to the relevant circuit before beginning any work. Remove the existing cover by unscrewing or unfastening the System 55 frame retaining elements, then lift off the old rocker cover to expose the underlying mechanism. Align the new GIRA Wippe 2f Pfeil cover with the mechanism and press into place or secure according to the frame’s fastening method until it clicks or sits flush. Restore the frame and any surrounding trim, then switch the power back on and test the rockers for correct mechanical operation. No changes to wiring or electrical connections are required when replacing only the visible cover.

Recommendations

Use only with GIRA System 55 compatible frames and mechanisms to ensure correct fit and safe operation. Clean the surface with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent if necessary; avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents. For installations in high-use or public areas, verify fastening is secure and periodically inspect for wear or damage. If any mechanical parts are damaged or the mechanism shows signs of electrical fault, consult a qualified electrician before continuing use.
