Krytka objektívu Canon E-58II čierna EF objektív priemer 5,8 cm

The Canon E-58II Lens Cap is a front protective cover designed for Canon EF lenses with a 5.8 cm diameter. It shields the lens surface from dust, dirt, fingerprints and accidental scratches during storage and transport, helping to maintain optical performance and extend the usable life of the lens.

Advantages

The lens cap installs and removes quickly using a simple pinch mechanism that holds securely on the lens front without adding bulk. Constructed from durable plastic, the cap provides a lightweight yet resilient barrier against impacts and environmental contaminants. Its neutral black finish is compatible with a wide range of Canon EF lenses and does not interfere with lens hoods or caps when fitted correctly.

Suitable for

• Protecting Canon EF lenses with a 58 mm (5.8 cm) front diameter during storage
• Covering lenses when transporting camera bodies and gear in bags or cases
• Preventing dust and fingerprints when changing lenses in the field

Key specifications

• Compatibility: designed for EF lenses with a 58 mm front diameter
• Material: durable injection-molded plastic
• Color: black
• Mounting: spring-loaded pinch-fit mechanism for quick attachment and removal
• Weight: lightweight construction for minimal added bulk

How to use

Align the cap with the front of the lens and gently pinch the tabs to compress the internal spring. Place the cap against the lens outer rim and release the tabs so the cap snaps into place. To remove, pinch the tabs and pull the cap straight off. Ensure the lens front and inner cap surfaces are clean before fitting to avoid trapping particles that could scratch the glass.

Recommendations

Store the cap on the lens whenever the camera is not in use. For additional protection during transport, use in combination with a rear body cap and a suitable padded camera bag. Regularly inspect and wipe the cap interior to remove any dust or grit.
